Version 0.41.0 is released, free tier for live trading, Bitget partnership, and more

This is a huge release. It marks a new partnership with Bitget, the current fastest-growing crypto exchange.

They reached out to me and we came up with a partnership that allows us to offer a free tier for the live trading plugin. The free tier is limited to trading on Bitget only. So basically if you are trading on Bitget, you can now use Jesse's live trading plugin for free.

What's new

[BREAKING] On the FTX Perpetual Futures exchange, symbols ending in the PERP format are not supported anymore. Previously Jesse replaced the ending PERP with USD in the database but that was confusing.
[NEW FEATURE] Added support for the Bitget USDT Futures driver.
[NEW FEATURE] Added a "free" plan allowing to trade live on Bitget.com.
[IMPROVEMENT] Added proper handling for the rare listenKeyExpired event that happened on the BinancePerpetualFutures driver leading to the WebSocket connection for user account data not working anymore without throwing any errors.
[IMPROVEMENT] Improves the ping-pong mechanism of the WebSocket connection on Bybit drivers leading to fewer disconnections (and reconnections).
[IMPROVEMENT] Improved handling of orders when deciding on the order types in a way to work better on sudden price changes.
[IMPROVEMENT] Improved handling of exit orders to prevent the Cannot submit a reduce_position order when there is no open position error occurring when a position is suddenly closed while Jesse's trying to execute a batch of (exit) orders.
[FIX] Fixed the TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable error in Bybit drivers.
[FIX] Fixed the TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'NoneType' and 'float' error in Bybit drivers.
[FIX] Fixed theTypeError: Cannot parse single argument of type <class 'numpy.ndarray'> raised in live sessions with "local candle generation" enabled.
[FIX] Fixed the issue where candles were not showing up in the live chart when "local candle generation" was enabled.
[FIX] Added handling of the WebSocketConnectionClosedException error in Bybit USDT Perpetual so that the running session won't be terminated.

About Bitget

Bitget is a Singapore based exchagne (just like Bybit). It is one of the fastest-growing exchanges in the world. You can trade on Bitget without doing KYC with a withdrawal limit of 20 BTC per day which is the highest I've seen so far.

I'm told (I have not checked this myself) that they have a US license as well and that even US citizens can trade there.

Free plan

Thanks to the partnership with Bitget, we can now offer a free plan for the live trading plugin.

From now on, we'll offer a free plan. The free plan enables live trading on Bitget. On the new pricing page you can see a full comparison of the free plan and the paid plans in a summarized table.

The early access discount coming to an end

In the next 3 days, I will remove the 50% discount for the "early access" program. It's been going on for too long now and we're no longer in an early-access phase anymore.

The live plugin is stable enough now. So the full price will be $1600 for the premium plan. Of course, there will be future discounts and promotions so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed.

How to get started with the free plan

Register on Bitget through Jesse's affiliate link (by doing so you also have a chance to win up to $4000 bonuses). If you have an account before this date, you can skip this part.
Follow the installation instructions for the live plugin as always. You still need to create a license token and add it to your .env file as always.
